A lesson in remembrance and respect
On 26 October 2026, pupils in Years 1–8 at the Agnieszka Holland Language Primary School visited a war cemetery to honour fallen soldiers.
The children lit memorial candles and paid a silent tribute to those who gave their lives for their country’s freedom. The visit offered a moment for reflection and a chance to show respect for people whose lives form part of our history.
It was an important lesson in history and patriotism. Remembering our heroes and appreciating peace and freedom are values worth sharing from an early age. We invite you to explore the photo report from the visit.
